Anna & Jules

Anna and Jules wanted small and did not want to apologise for it. Thirty-six guests, all of whom stayed on the property, and a ceremony under the arbutus tree at the bottom of the lawn where the sandstone meets the water.

Everything came from the island: the lamb from a farm on the north end, cheese from Salt Spring Island Cheese, flowers cut that morning from three gardens. The band was two people. The speeches were cut to one.
